This story ran in the Columbian on Monday, April 14, 2008.
It was in section A (front page) cont on page A6. Its newsworthy because it was an event representing peace. About 60 volunteers gathered in Ester Shore park last Sunday to take part in creating a "peace cirlce" around an outline of a dove on the ground. This event was an addtion to a three day peace confrence held at the Red Lion.
I thought this story was pretty cool because it brings together all sorts of people together all for the greater cause and acts of "peace"...which is always nice.
